Today I got pulled over for the first time for running a red light , when the officer pulled me over, as he was getting off his bike I took my seatbelt off (I know, now that I think of it, it was such a stupid thing to do, but it was my first time being pulled over and I didnt know how to react). So I go to the left and the left and gas it a little bit, I was going like 10 mph as I was taking off, and the light turns yellow, I cross the crosswalk, then the light turns red and I drive under the set of lights.. These 2 bike cops came immediately after me... So long story short, it was my first time being pulled over, I took the seatbelts off, and I ran the red light because there was a guy pulling into a parking stop right in front of me and I was too worried looking around afraid I was going to hit a jaywalking tourists. I know people always think they're right, but I honestly think I didn't do anything wrong here. I got a $25 seat belt fine and a warning for running the red light, which is complete BS. I know it's a warning but I don't want it on my record at all, how can I appeal, any tips? hello, i am 17 years old and have just gotten my M1, i am looking at buying a honda cbr 125 (2008 in white). i was wondering if anyone had an approximate estimate on how much insurance may be, please do not tell me to go see a insurance broker, i will, but i just want to see if its even worth looking at. the bike is only a 125cc so i can't imagine insurance being insane. also i live north of toronto in a city of 120,000 people and would only be doing 20-30 kilometers a week (just going to school or work). also can someone tell me how motorcycle insurance works in the winter? do i still pay a monthly price even though i cannot ride or do i pay for the months i'm only riding? and how do i know if its safe to ride my bike in the spring, is there some kind of guideline saying when its illegal and not illegal to ride a bike in terms of the winter time? thanks!

When i quoted my car insurance, i used my apartment address. After i bought the insurance, i asked them to change to PO BOX as my mailing address. Later on, when i moved to another apartment, i didn't update my current physical address with my insurance company because i am using my PO BOX as my mailing address so far. My question is if somehow i get a car accident, will the insurance company deny my claim because of not telling them the current physical address? I just got married, does my parents health insurance still cover me?

I got married on the 5th of december of 2010, neither my husband or I has health insurance through our work, and neither of us are still attending college, I know they have made a lot of changes with Health insurance lately and I have a prescription that usually costs about $200/month, but with the Insurance it is only $15, I stumbled upon a website that says I can still be considered a dependent even if I am married, since my job doesn't offer Health plans, but it doesn't say anything about being married in the middle of the insurance plan year (starts and ends in August).
